Changing States - An Animated Mystery Tour

Now available to play online, this resource is based on an original idea by teacher Darren Waters and developed into an interactive game by professional educational software developers.

Changing States has been specifically designed for use on whiteboards for pupils studying materials and their properties at Sc3. Reversible and non-reversible changes are featured in fun formats to put pleasure into learning.

Changing States can also be used on personal computers. The program contains many problem-solving activities set in a game format and is presented at three levels of difficulty to make it available and appealing to all pupils.

Supports teaching at of Sc3 'Changing Materials' with emphasis on 2d and 2f (knowing about reversible and non-reversible changes).

The Insides Story

This new, FREE interactive program is the fruition of secondary teacher Amy Harman's Online Science Award-winning idea.

The Insides Story is aimed at KS3, and contains learning material about the organs of the body and the risk of developing serious illnesses and diseases through poor lifestyle choices.

The Virtual Circuit

The Virtual Circuit is an online simulation of a basic electrical circuit, aimed at KS2 students.

It introduces the basic concepts of electrical circuits, including cells, components, conductors and insulators, series and parallel circuits.

The activity also includes the facility to switch between the virtual model view and circuit diagram and symbols view.
